Might is right. You can do whatever you want as long as you are stronger that your opponent. This was the stand of Ravana the great demon king who fought against Ram. His brother Vibishan was against his deeds and joined Ram as he sincerely felt that he could not support his wrong deeds like the abduction of Sita. He had another brother by name Kumbakarna - The strongest personality, but very good at heart. Even thought he did not agree with his brother, he felt that his brother is dependent on him. He doesn't want to desert him. Though he was sure that he will fail in his endeavor, he was happy to sacrifice his life for his brother. This story deals with the life of Kumbakarna, who slept for months and had a huge meal. None could wake him up. People were scared to go near him. He was asked by Ravan to face Ram in the last days of the war in Lanka. Kumbakarna though a demon, was a person of great penance. That's why he was blessed by Lord Brahma. He had two ways before him - to stand by righteousness or to show his gratitude to his brother. The latter option meant death. But he chose to die and made the supreme sacrifice. He fought against Ram and died in his hands. A great hero, remembered forever.
